The Community Needs Assessment survey is now available! The Regional Resource Center on Deafness (RRCD) wants to hear from you! The RRCD been given a grant from the Department of Human Services to collect information from Oregonians who are Deaf, Hard of Hearing, or anyone with a hearing loss.
The RRCD collecting this information to write a report to the Oregon Legislature, identifying barriers and gaps in public services for Oregonians who have a hearing loss. Please take a moment to fill out this survey.

**Please note: The American Sign Language version can only be taken from a desktop/or laptop with a strong internet connection due to high number of video clips. Please wait a couple of minutes for the videos to download from a cloud platform before start the survey. Due to compatibility issue with videos, the ASL version is not viewable on mobile devices such as smartphones, tablets, etc. The English and Spanish version of the survey can be viewed on mobile devices. If you click the ASL version on a mobile device, you will see English text and blank space for the videos but you will not be able to see the videos.

We are also in need of participants from Eastern Oregon and the Coast. If you are interested in participating in a Focus Group, there are two ways to let us know: 1. Complete the Community Needs Assessment Survey. When you complete it, it will ask if you are interested in participating in the focus groups and will take you to a sign up page; or 2) contact Denise Thew Hackett at email@example.com or her assistant Sarah Hill at 207-841-3331.
Please spread the word and tell anyone you know who has a hearing loss to take this survey. It is open for only a short time and will close on August 31, 2016. The final report will be submitted to the Oregon Legislature on December 31, 2016 for review during their 2017 session.
