The Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) has announced PedPDX, Portland’s Citywide Pedestrian Plan. The plan will prioritize sidewalks, crossing improvements, and other investments to make walking safer and more comfortable across the city.
To help guide development of the plan, PBOT is now recruiting Portlanders to apply to serve on the PedPDX Community Advisory Committee (CAC).
Preference will be given to applicants who contribute to a diversity of perspectives on the committee, including disability experience and awareness. A Disability Rights Oregon staff member has applied to be on the committee, and we encourage other community members who have disabilities to apply.
Read more about the CAC and learn how to apply in this announcement from PBOT. You can apply through Sunday, April 16, 2017.
