We need input from you about what Portland Police should be trained on when responding to mental health crisis calls.
The mission of the Behavioral Health Unit (BHU) of the Portland Police is to coordinate the response of Law Enforcement and the Behavioral Health System to aid people in behavioral crisis.
The Advisory Committee for the BHU is creating a list of training topics. DRO Attorney Jan Friedman serves on the Advisory Committee and would like input on possible training topics from individuals who have a disability, or people who are close to individuals who have a disability.
