ATM company proposes to improve accessibility for blind users

Have you had problems accessing an ATM?

Read this notice to class members regarding a settlement and fairness hearing in a class action regarding the inaccessibility of Cardtronics ATMs to people who are blind.

You may object to the settlement until April 2, 2015.

As a general summary of the Amended Agreement, Cardtronics has agreed to develop and install enhanced voice-guidance software for its fleet of ATMs—both owned and operated—on or before March 31, 2017.  The parties have also agreed to new, National Federation of the Blind-approved Braille signage.  The Amended Agreement also provides for a robust field inspection and testing program, as well as comprehensive compliance reporting.
