Matt is responsible for helping Oregonians with disabilities access the services of our protection and advocacy system. As a member of the Intake team, Matt handles all initial requests for legal assistance. In this role, Matt helps refer people to community support services, provides basic legal information to help empower individuals to advocate for their civil rights, and briefs the attorney teams on requests to help them determine whether they meet the criteria for providing legal assistance.
Matt is a seventh generation Oregonian, and has had stints in Las Vegas, Boston, California, Arkansas, and Kansas City. He enjoys cooking (i.e. eating), learning about outer space, trying to learn guitar, and loves sports particularly the NBA, Major League Soccer, and the perennially woeful New York Jets.
