Plan for Work helps an employee keep his medical benefits

Concerned that he would lose both his cash and medical benefits because he was working 25-35 hours a week, a person contacted a CWIC at DRO for help. The CWIC noted that he has a job coach and helped him submit a request to Social Security to not count the wages he earned during the hours he received job coaching when evaluating his work. Social Security agreed. He still receives benefits but is working hard to become self-supporting.
