Sonya Fischer, Fischer Family Law, PC, focuses on domestic relations, special education, guardianships and juvenile dependency.
She is currently Parliamentarian of the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association, on the Executive Committee of Disability Rights Oregon, Past President of Clackamas Women Lawyers. She is also a member of the Clackamas County Bar Association and the Multnomah Bar Association.
Sonya returned to the practice of law after serving as the Director for State and Federal Legislative Affairs for the Department of Human Services during the 2011 legislative session.
Sonya has a long history of instrumental advocacy for individuals with significant disabilities and their families. She has previously served as chair of the policy committee for FACT a coalition of family advocacy organizations. Sonya is also a member of the Governmental Affairs Committee of the Lake Oswego Chamber of Commerce. She was recently appointed as a Clackamas County Commissioner.
