We Loved What You Had to Say
Last year, we took some time to reinvigorate our look. We asked what you thought of us and what makes us different. We’re grateful to everyone who shared their input. What you think of our organization matters so much.
Our new logo is designed to celebrate both differences and togetherness. We wanted to share it with you here.
Our designers took a universal design approach to create this logo. They designed to meet inclusive design standards to serve our whole audience with a broad and diverse range of hearing, movement, sight, and cognitive differences.
We’d like to express our deep gratitude to The Beauty Shop – a women-owned creative agency located in Portland that partners with evolving and emerging brands across the globe. This firm generously donated their professional design services to us. Their work will help Oregonians with disabilities to elevate their presence and raise their voices through advocacy.
We hope that this new look better reflects what we stand for: Giving everyone the opportunity to build a life for themselves. People with disabilities should feel like they belong in our world. This requires a radical shift in how we set up nearly every aspect of our community – from schools, workplaces, and public meetings to buildings, street crossings, and tools for registering to vote or casting a ballot.
That’s what we fight for every day.
