Elizabeth Brannan

Board Member

Elizabeth Brannan serves as Chair of the Mental Health Advisory Council, comprised of people who experience mental illness and their families, providers, members of the public with knowledge of mental illness, and attorneys. She pursued a career as a paralegal to specifically work in civil and disability rights law.

Elizabeth’s lived experience — and our advocacy to ban the use of discriminatory Quality-Adjusted Life Years in Oregon — brought her to Disability Rights Oregon. Interested in epidemiology since a child, she’s a lifelong studier of viruses including their structure, evolution, social impact, and how they cause disease.

Elizabeth holds an associate degree from Portland Community College, and, in her free time, she enjoys learning and printmaking.

She joined the Disability Rights Oregon Board in 2024.
