Beth Brownhill
Managing Attorney
Beth leads two teams comprised of advocates and attorneys at Disability Rights Oregon. The Crime Survivor Project helps ensure crime survivors with disabilities receive the information and support, advocacy, and legal services to move forward, find justice, and obtain safety and stability. The Developmental Disability Rights Project provides legal advocacy for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, with a focus on individuals in group homes and statewide issues.
Prior to joining Disability Rights Oregon, Beth's professional experience serving clients with disabilities spanned both private legal practice and nonprofit law firms. Her past work includes the areas of estate planning, public benefits advocacy, juvenile law, and special education law. Beth has expertise in launching new grant funded legal programs and is skilled in representing clients in public defense, before the Juvenile Psychiatric Security Review Board, and in special education discipline cases.
Beth graduated from Seattle University School of Law in 2001.
