Share Your COVID-19 Vaccine Story
If you, your family member, or your support staff is eligible to get a vaccine, but have encountered barriers, please share your story below.
COVID-19 Vaccines Are Rolling Out in Oregon
Vaccines that have been tested and proven effective at protecting people from COVID-19 are available in Oregon for some groups of people who are at high-risk from the virus. According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, COVID-19 vaccination works by teaching your immune system how to recognize and fight the virus that causes COVID-19, and this protects you from getting sick with COVID-19.
Please help inform our advocacy by sharing your story if you, your family member, or you’re support staff is eligible to get a vaccine, but have:
not been able to find out where to get it or when
been denied the vaccine
told you have to prove you are a person with a disability who is eligible to receive the vaccine
have been denied a reasonable accommodation that you've requested
