Barbara Dirks

Barbara worked in human resources for many years at Kaiser Permanente where she co-coordinated its Disability Staff Association, an affinity group for staff who experience disability or who had a family member who experiences disability. She also worked as a Community Work Incentives Coordinator with Disability Rights Oregon’s Plan for Work Program.
Barbara has been active in the community in support of both disability rights and women’s rights. She has volunteered her time on behalf of numerous community organizations, including Connecting Communities Coalition, Incight, Reelabilities Film Festival, and the National Organization for Women. Barbara has served a member of Disability Rights Oregon since 2019.
