Therese McLain
Board Member
Therese is a facilitator and data analyst consultant. She worked most recently in finance and wealth management. Throughout her life, Therese has championed the rights of people with disabilities (including a family member’s) and worked to ensure everyone’s voice is heard and valued.
Before switching to the private sector, Therese worked in the Portland, Oregon, non-profit world on low-income housing issues and training and employing people with disabilities. There she developed and co-chaired the Connecting Communities Coalition and the CCC Leadership Academy, focused on empowering people with disabilities, a program that was eventually adopted by the City of Portland's Office of Neighborhood Involvement.
Therese joined the Disability Rights Oregon Board in 2023. She previously served on the City of Portland Commission on Disability and with Ride Connection.
