Morgan Montgomery

Treasurer

For more than twenty years, Morgan has volunteered for nonprofits that support individuals experiencing intellectual and developmental disabilities. He was initially drawn to volunteering in this community upon awareness of how underserved this population is. In more recent years, Morgan has become a passionate advocate for his brother-in-law who experienced a traumatic brain injury at a young age.

As Board Treasurer, Morgan helps ensure strong financial stewardship of the organization’s financial resources. He brings nearly 15 years of banking experience to the position.

Previously, Morgan served as President of the Board at Advocates for Life Skills & Opportunity (ALSO), a nonprofit organization that assists people with developmental disabilities with residential, vocational and transportation needs in the Portland Metro area, Deschutes County, and Klamath County. 

In addition to serving as Board Treasurer at Disability Rights Oregon, Morgan is a Member of the Board Of Trustees at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Morgan joined the Board of Disability Rights Oregon in 2022.
